If you leave clients guessing, they will become increasingly frustrated and lose trust in your business.

Assess and Improve – Evaluate your customers’ perceptions of your work. Checking in or sending a survey is an excellent way to determine their perception of you. Take nothing personally, he advises. However, pay attention whenever there is an opportunity for improvement and make the necessary adjustments to grow a more substantial firm.

Underpromise and overdeliver — Many firms desire to overpromise and then struggle to keep their promises. Rather than that, Foxhoven advises against making promises you are unsure you can keep. “Make only those promises in which you are confident,” he explains. “You may impress your customers by delivering faster, better, or at a lower price than you initially promised. When you go above and beyond what you say you would accomplish, you gain huge points with anyone you work with or for.”
